Doug Emerson is an excellent attorney that addressed our needs efficiently and effectively. He was easy to work with and provided us with the help we needed.

My son and I went to Doug Emerson off the street, with no recommendations and we came away from our first consultation quite impressed with his legal acuity. We were most relieved to put our case in his capable hands. Mr. Emerson has the kind of wealth of information and skill that is needed in Family Law these days. He showed immediate interest and concern in the case with many good suggestions on how to proceed. We retained him readily (at a fair price I might add) and he took care of our issues up front and by the book, with the strength we were looking for when it came to how to communicate with a mighty government entity. When he called us, he personally contacted us. I would recommend him when you need a firm hand to navigate through a legal minefield. He is now my lawyer of record!

Had a free consultation with Doug. He took the time to listen carefully to my issues and help me with my next steps. Excellent consultation and will use his services if I move forward.

This lawyer knows his stuff! And he was super helpful after just meeting him for a consultation...but only call on him if your willing and able to spend some cash...he does not come cheap!

Had a great experience with Mr. Emerson today on a consultation. I have paid other lawyers $400 for a one hour consultation, and all they did was look at their watch and seem uninterested. That was not the case with Mr. Emerson on my free consultation. He genuinely cares about what your going through and offers his expertise. I highly recommend this attorney!!!

Mr Emerson was the best decision we made. I read his reviews and others. Being new to Parker County it was scary to pick an attorney we knew nothing about. He went above and beyond. Got a silly charge dismissed and an impressive plea for another. If you ever get caught up in Parker County, he is the best investment you can make. He is very straight to the point in a very kind way. Highly recommend

Mr. Emerson is a very knowledgeable and professional attorney. We are grateful to have him as our attorney especially when we have never had to hire an attorney before and were walking into the unknown. He explained what options we had and what we were going against. Also very attentive to all of our questions as well as with following up with us.

I went through Mr. Emerson for modification of my ex husband's custody and child support. My initial consultation with Mr. Emerson was very helpful. He helped calm my nerves and answer all of my questions. It was clear from the beginning he wasn't out to charge me an arm and a leg for unnecessary things. He took his time and I didn't feel rushed. Once I hired him, he spent time with me reviewing what I was wanting and my circumstances. From that point forward I mainly worked with his paralegal, Valerie, until our court date. Valerie was awesome as well. She answered all of my questions honestly. If she was unsure of something, she talked with Mr. Emerson and called me back shortly. On our court date, Mr. Emerson was able to get me everything I was asking for. It is clear he knows his stuff! He is also reasonably priced. I will definitely be using Mr. Emerson for any of my future legal issues/needs. Thank y'all! :)

Mr. Emerson worked by my side and fought for me throughout my entire divorce. I highly recommend him for any case!

I contacted Doug the day before my first court date and without hesitation he said that he would help me. I have never had to do anything like this before and was honestly lost. He immediately dove into my case as he only had a half a day's work to put my case together before my first court appearance. It was very nice to actually have someone that sounded like they cared about your predicament and wanted to help as much as possible. He was very easy to contact with no "hold ...

My son had a court date that he was unable to attend due to illness. Even though the opposing attorney knew about this, he would not return my calls. We were in a situation where the court hearing was less than twenty four hours away. I contacted Doug Emerson's office and they worked me in to speak with him. He got down to business getting all the paperwork in order so my son could file a continuance in the case. He never asked for a dime.
He has now taken over the case that a female attorney in Weatherford was incompetent to complete after spending several thousand dollars with her. He is now the attorney that will handle this case. I know that my son is in great hands with Mr. Emerson and that the case will be handled correctly.

Went in for a consultation today and was very pleased with the insight that was given to me. Mr. Emerson is very personable, knowledgeable and helpful. Circumstances threw me into a situation where I ended up hiring another attorney before I was able to get his counsel. Regardless, he was still very willing to talk to me and give me other insight and perspectives that I wouldn't have thought to ask. If you're sitting there hesitating, please stop and just come see him. You won't regret it. Should I need another lawyer in the future it will be this gentleman without hesitation.

Super Smart and knowledgeable. Consultation was very thorough and helpful. Had a lot of background in civil issues and went beyond what most have done. His manners were great, which if looking for an attorney, you know how most can be rude and stuck up.
